Battery Guy’s Here!!
Today I got my batteries. The whole idea of an electric vehicle became very real. The pictures show the placement of the components and the Batteries. I also placed the accelerator actuator and hooked it up to the accelerator pedal.

Really getting close now, Mark. I can’t wait to not hear the quiet approach of this car at the intersection’s red light. Perhaps a little music would be in order to alert blind pedestrians at such intersections. If I may suggest a few possibilities: “The Electric Slide”, “Electric Avenue”, or how about a Jetson’s spacecraft whistle complete with a Doppler Effect. But another possibility occurs, to affix a small speaker under the body hooked up to your iPod, so you could play any song or sound effect you choose. It has been fun seeing the progress. Kudos to you and your dedication to such a worthy endeavor.
